Hi everyone

Just a quick update here on dA.

Sorry for not replying to the comments, I have very little free time besides work, and the little I have usually goes to arting and crap like that.
I do read every comment I receive, but usually when I finally get free, they are weeks overdue ...

As a more important part of this update; I'm becoming more 'active' in FA, since my best friends and pretty much everyone I hang out with are FA users mostly. I'm not that active there either, but I check FA way more often that dA these days, even though FA has very clunky mechanisms.

So, if you are interested in more frequent updates, please follow me there instead.


Also
I've been procrastinating a 'watercolour' tutorial for some of my watchers, and I plan to make one, thing is, even I don't know how it's done. Every picture is made using a tad different technique, with varying results and difficulty, so I'll wait till I get a more constant workflow on them before I start giving out tutorials.

BUT:
Here's the tutorial that inspired me to start experimenting with digital watercolours.

It's a simple technique with a mind blowing result. From use of colours and lighting to composition, she's incredibly talented, and has a lot to learn from. Please give her a watch:

So, after a bit of a hiatus, I finally managed to pull myself together, albeit I would've never made it back without the support of :3

Normally I'm not a fan of dumping RL stuff on dA but after such a sudden and long absence, I think you deserve some explanation.

Autumn's been a bit of a difficult one, things here were like a roller-coaster, high ups for weeks yet ever lower downs lasting for months. These rapid changes in mood made tending to this site very difficult, with visits getting rarer until I went on a break - which I honestly thought of being about a month long at max -
My job was also a high source of serious nerve-wrecking stress, but luckily the projects that gave me these hard times are well over, and I even made plans to change a couple of things in my life, so I hope I'll avoid this whole mess for a long time.
I did my best to create as much new 'art' in the meantime as possible, as it is really something that helps me through blueness in general, so this hiatus wasn't that barren, although, there's quite some time between each piece, meaning they vary in style and technique seriously.   

I also expanded my empire of 'eh' art to FA, where most of my closest friends are lurking. I plan to update them synchronously, but some art will be posted only there - NOT that kind - collabs and such.

There are gonna be a couple of updates of art and future plans in the next few days, so keep your eyes peeled.

Hello everyone

I'll be inactive for a while due to personal issues. Will try to do the art I'm in debt with, but will not post them here until I return.

You may have noticed I haven't been active very much lately - i.e. at all.

Things have been über busy here: I've just finished illustrating a schoolbook - and there will be seven other ones (from grade one to eight) - and there's also a pilot episode for a cartoon series that is quite behind schedule. I usually work 10-12 hours a day, often on weekends as well, so by the time I get home, I'm dead tired and has energy to watch a cat video or two. Thus, I haven't been able to work on any dA stuff, - expect the latest commission - and I have trades, another - traditional - commission, and a prize art to tackle, of course, every single one of them is super delayed or even forgotten by now.

As for commissions, with such erratic time schedule it would be very irresponsible to take new ones, alone.
However, mah friend, and I are planning to take collab commissions, sort of a warm-up for a HUGE future project. We'll hopefully make a good team; one's weakness is the other's strength. Unfortunately, neither of us had time lately, so we haven't been able to pin down every detail regarding prices.

I've received more and more interest in commissions from people who enjoy my style really much, and I couldn't be happier. ^^
However,  I have closed down commissions for a little while to finally catch up get other art project done here on dA, and will do them in a "three-slot-block" system from now on for easier management.

Also, making a new price sheet is getting more urgent, because the current one is a bit crowded, some information doesn't even fit on it. Fancy but but the cost of being actually useful.
Unfortunately, my there's lot projects going on in the studio, so time is sparse ... I'll probably have to increase the prices to make it worth it a little more. Sorry guys.

... of course, people who showed interest before this statement will pay with according the old ones.

So, once I'm ready take on a new batch, I'll update this journal.

Expanding:

A couple of people of have been suggesting me expanding a little, namely to FurAffinity, though I am sill a bit uncertain about that. It's great that it's a site just for anthro artwork, but the visit I had on the site didn't really convince me.
I know that mostly adult stuff is going on there - which I'm not doing - as well as commissions - which is no top priority for me -, but a little broader exposure is always great, and I don't know any other sites other than Tumblr, but it's a blog site.. not gallery, even less appealing to me.

I'd make a poll to see what you think, but that's luxury stuff, so let's do in the old way and tell me in the comments. C:

However before doing anything, I want to finish a new batch of pictures.

Apartment:

Back in February, I was kindly asked by my friend to look for a new place to be as his brother had to move in - Totally understand that, would have done the same - So after a desperate search lasting three months, I found one a week before the deadline. Some of the apartments I checked out were absolutely crazy; renting a tiny room for $180 or living in a smelly basement with tiny grated window for $160 a month.

The new flat is in the quite popular part of Budapest, everything is easy to access, which saves me a lot of commute time.
It's on the fourth floor, with an elevator, French balcony and huge windows. The rent is very reasonable, only twice the amount I paid monthly at my last place, which was just a  - though big - room. The best part is pets are allowed, so now I share my home with a little black kitten.

The last week was all about packing, hauling and moving in, so I missed my ...


FIRST DAILY DEVIATION!






Oh my gosh! I never thought I'll ever have one, let alone for a picture I feel I've already exceeded in technical aspects. It was kind of a self-suggestion, so takes away from its value a lot, but I digress.
At first, I just noticed to usual number of notifications changed ... something felt fishy, then saw the comments of congratulating on the DD feature. I was through the roof! C:
I'm soooo happy noted the small details and lighting in the feature, as mastering those are in central focus for me. :3

I do hope I won't let down my new followers, and they will love the upcoming works; there's a plenty of them going on, featuring all kinds of species.


Now back to work ... I haven't published anything this month. Let's make a generic dog gal.
