Happy new year to everyone!

Some of you may have noticed that I wasn't that active recently. Most of the time we were working on a stop motion short, which we managed to finish only with a little overdue. So far, this was the most complicated project we made, as everything had to be build from scratch. - the paper cut-out animation we made last year also required a little work on the characters and props, but was way simpler - It's actually quite fun if you don't mind lead poisoning or getting sick from glue fumes.
After many weeks of hard work, it was finally ready by December. It turned out to be a great success among our teachers and schoolmates, despite being our first movie with this technique, so we're really proud. ^^

Unfortunately, that wasn't the sole reason for my absence. Sadly, I have financial problems.- there's a little light at the end of this tunnel though, but it's too early to say anything for sure - That's why I wasn't around for five months last year, and now it seems I can't afford having a PC at home any more.

However, since this is my last year at school and many other projects will have to be done, I've decided to move my computer from home to the "workshop" provided by the headmaster for our class. There will be many pros as well as cons; I will have a fast, stable internet access and unlimited amount of coffee(!), but only on weekdays following an hour of commute time. Hey, free coffee and internet! What more could I ask for? C:

I couldn't make any interesting pieces during holidays, only a few reworks to get into the mood of drawing again but nothing new, although I experienced with a new colouring/shading style a bit, which I'm going to use in the future.

Thank you people for watching, commenting and showing support while I wasn't around!

I hope your holidays went well! ^^

MINI UPDATE:

I've removed my old Halo: FTS character deviations. Not only they had little to no artistic value, but also kept people reminded of the cancelled movie. I regularly got messages of people "asking" me to make the movie and got fed up with it a bit.

It's nice to have you back! Although, as among the few people who completely are under situations you are in, real life is always first priority.
And like you, I had to remove my own Halo comics because they had no potential or value anymore (not to mention the Halo franchise became mutated). I got more air to breath and feel refreshed. Of course, school and work kept my clock ticking and my time consumed. So let the demand hold you down.

Yeah, do what you gotta go man. It's been a lovely, busy 2013-2014 for me!
